How we search for graves

Sometimes relatives lose information about the exact burial place — due to relocations, lost documents or the age of the burial. We help restore this connection by using every available source.

Our specialists work with cemetery registers, civil registry archives and databases, and carry out a direct search on site.

Search stages

1

Gathering information

You provide everything you know: the full name of the deceased, approximate dates of birth and death, the city and the name of the cemetery.

2

Working with archives

We check cemetery registers, civil registry archives and burial databases. We contact the cemetery administration.

3

On-site search

A visit to the cemetery, walking the plots, and photographing the burial place once found.

4

Report and photos

We send a photo report with GPS coordinates, a description of the grave's condition and recommendations for further care.

What information is needed for the search

  • The surname, first name and patronymic of the deceased
  • The approximate or exact date of death
  • The city and district (if known)
  • The name of the cemetery (if known)
  • Any additional information (plot number, section, landmarks)
